Pakistan - a land of breathtaking mountains, vast deserts, and ancient rivers - is also a place where God is moving in powerful ways. With a population of over 230 million, it is one of the most significant mission fields in the world today.
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
Acts 1:8
When we think of the "ends of the earth," Pakistan is one of those places that comes to mind. Christians make up a small minority of the population, yet their faith burns brightly. In cities like Lahore, Faisalabad, and Karachi, believers gather in homes and churches to worship the Living God - often at great personal cost.
The beauty of Pakistan is undeniable. From the snow-capped peaks of the Karakoram and Hindu Kush ranges in the north to the fertile plains of Punjab, this land carries a grandeur that speaks of its Creator. The people are warm, hospitable, and deeply spiritual - qualities that create fertile ground for the Gospel message.
Yet the challenges are real. Christians in Pakistan face discrimination, persecution, and social marginalization. Blasphemy laws are often misused against believers. Many Christian families live in poverty, working as laborers with little access to education or healthcare. Despite these hardships, the church in Pakistan continues to grow - a testament to the power of God working through His people.
Through Healing Hands Ministries and TFH Biblical School, we are investing in the next generation of Pakistani believers. Our students learn the Scriptures, grow in their faith, and are equipped to become leaders in their communities. We believe that the transformation of Pakistan will come not through political power or social programs alone, but through the life-changing power of the Gospel.
The opportunities are vast. Villages that have never heard the name of Jesus are waiting. Young people are searching for meaning and truth. Families broken by poverty and oppression are longing for hope. And God has placed us here - in this time, in this place - to be His witnesses.
"The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."
Matthew 9:37-38
Pakistan is not just a place on the map - it is a place on God's heart. And we are privileged to be part of what He is doing here. Will you join us in prayer and support for this extraordinary mission field?
