Ministry can be a lonely calling. Pastors carry the weight of their congregations, face spiritual battles, and often serve with little recognition or support. That is why fellowship among pastors is not a luxury - it is a necessity.
"They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer."
Acts 2:42
In May 2024, Healing Hands Ministries hosted a gathering of pastors from across the region for a time of fellowship and corporate prayer. The event brought together church leaders who share a common vision for advancing the Kingdom of God in Pakistan, yet who rarely have the opportunity to come together in one place.
The gathering began with worship and continued with shared testimonies. Pastor after pastor spoke of the challenges they face - persecution, financial hardship, the pressure of leading small congregations in hostile environments. But alongside every challenge was a testimony of God's faithfulness. Story after story confirmed that God has not abandoned His servants.
Unity was the defining theme of the day. In a country where Christians are a small minority, the unity of church leaders is essential. When pastors stand together, their congregations are strengthened. When they pray together, spiritual strongholds are broken. This gathering was a powerful reminder that no pastor walks alone.
Corporate prayer was the highlight of the event. The pastors prayed for one another's ministries, for their families, for the persecuted church, and for the nation of Pakistan. There was a tangible sense of the Holy Spirit's presence as these men of God interceded together with one voice and one heart.
"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!"
Psalm 133:1
Healing Hands Ministries is committed to providing ongoing pastoral support. We understand that the health of the church depends on the health of its leaders. Through regular fellowship gatherings, prayer meetings, and practical support, we aim to ensure that no pastor in our network feels isolated or unsupported.
The fruit of these gatherings extends far beyond the event itself. Pastors return to their congregations refreshed, encouraged, and empowered. The relationships formed during fellowship create a network of mutual support that sustains ministry throughout the year.
